The lineup of “Rooluulend” includes Roomet Jakapi (vocals, electronics, toys), Luulur (vocals), Leonora Palu (flutes, vocals), and Indrek Palu (electric violin, electronics, vocals).

The four have been active together since September 1, 2022, when they performed at the Twisted Shout festival in Stockholm. Roomet and Luulur have been performing together for about a decade, and we have ended up on stage together in various
combinations at literature, art, and noise music events. Indrek and Leonora come from the free improvisation school of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

The music is created spontaneously through improvisation on stage. One of the highlights of our performances so far was at the opening of the international surrealist art exhibition on April 3, 2025, at the Estonian National Museum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcVrskyoDTY
