Marianne works as a doctor for men, and her colleague Tor is a male nurse. Working together every day, they grow closer, also bonded by their routine ferry commute where they can chat in a relaxed way outside of work. Marianne has her own understanding of love, as does Tor, and it seems the young man serves as an inspiration for her to explore a “different kind” of relationship. As is typical for our modern, fast-paced times, they both have dating apps on their phones—Marianne has Tinder, and Tor has Grindr.
