Kaisa Ling Thing “International Women’s Day”

Ladies and gentlemen!
During the week of International Women’s Day, March 4–8, Kaisa Ling Thing celebrates the progress made over the last 150 years in the fight for women’s rights with a concert tour.

The ensemble has released three studio albums: “Nii kole mees” (2018), “Läänemure lained” (2021), and “Big Bäng” (2024). They have staged the musicals “Kuldsete kätega mees” (2021) and “Mehistumise viisid” (2023), and performed their English-language program “The Feminist’s Handbook for Eastern Europe” in the USA, Scotland, Germany, and Scandinavia.
Kaisa Ling has hosted shows on ETV (“Mississippi hääled”) and Klassikaraadio (“Gogol”, “Delta”, “Kaisa seikleb Suomessa”). Her reportage from the 2025 Song and Dance Festival procession was awarded the Radio Moment of the Year. Ling’s translations include Margaret Atwood’s “Old Babes in the Wood” and biographies of Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King.
